*SHUT UP AND DANCE - U.K.
SUAD Music : http://www.shutupanddance.co.uk

Song : Fire

-Since 2010 Shut Up And Dance have been in the studio working hard on a new sound, the forthcoming EP - "The Only Way Is Hackney" is a taster of that new sound.

A mish mash of ragga, breakbeat, & dub step, fused together in that classic shut up and dance style, going back to the foundations of their early years, and paying homage to the manor in which they were both born & bred, The Only Way Is Hackney - Nuff said.

Way back in 1986 Smiley, PJ, DJ DADDY & DJ HYPE built a sound system called Heatwave and come the weekend they would break into many an unoccupied house or warehouse to start their own illegal raves... Smiley & PJ then decided to start their own labe l, Shut Up And Dance Music.

Their first release was a 5,6,7,8, which was sold straight out of the boot of PJ's ford escort. Other singles followed quickly, £10.00 To Get In, £20.00 To Get In, Lamborghini, Derek Went Mad and pretty soon an album Dance Before The Police Come which became an instant success, due to the love & support being shown from the pirate radio scene. The label grew from strength to strength and the guys signed : THE RAGGA TWINS, NICOLETTE, PETER BOUNCER, RUM & BLACK & ADEto name a few.

*KUDI - Asia
Solider Sound Recordings : http://www.facebook.com/TigerstyleOnline

Song : Tigerstyle Ft. Rani RanDeep(G-TA Remix)
Video : http://www.youtube.com/user/TigerstyleOnline

-"Kudi" ("Girl") showcases Tigerstyle's new unique direction they are taking, by making use of electronic and synthetic sounds but always fusing with Bhangra, international elements and plenty of BASS!!
This track features vocals of highly acclaimed female Punjabi singer RANI RANDEEP.

Remixes come from: Nucleya who delivers a riot of furious dubstep tabla beats, juddering B lines, cut up vox and snake charming flute.
G-TA turn in a menacing gruff step re-fix with mutating B line and haunting chords for the 4 a.m heads down crowd. Dark brooding and melodic.
The Shizzio and Big Narstie remix stays true to the original but with tough MC stylings to further get the crowd hyped.

Tigerstyle are one of the few Asian acts to have ever recorded a live session for the legendary late SIR JOHN PEEL. They were given the opportunity to showcase material supported by a full band at the first ever BBC ELECTRIC PROMS in September 06, were selected out of 1000s of acts to perform on the first ever BBC INTRODUCING STAGE AT THE GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL in July 07 and performed at the 2010 VANCOUVER WINTER OLYMPICS.

Previous releases by Tigerstyle were identified as key representations of the worldwide app eal of Bhangra music and used on XBOX360 GAMES by MICROSOFT. This was the first time that Bhangra tracks had been placed on any interactive game and endorsed the mainstream opinion that Bhangra had finally arrived in the ever-increasing global music market.
Tigerstyle have also been working alongside prominent BOLLYWOOD music directors, composing and remixing for Indian film soundtracks.

*MEMORY 9 - U.K.
Mnemonic Dojo : http://www.mnemonicdojo.com

Song : Fractals And Blades
Song : One Of These Days

-Memory9 is an alias of Milan-born, London-adopted Gadi Sassoon, a trained jazz musician and sound experimenter increasin gly well known for his numerous performances and radio mixes, including recent appearances on NINJA TUNE'S Solid Steel series. After releasing the first single as Memory9 with LA-based MC Juakali on Liverpool's glitch-hop label SKANKY PANKY RECORDS in early 2011, he came to prominence as a producer in the same year thanks to his popular remix of the first single by DJ VADIM's band THE ELECTRIC.

BLACK DRAGON marks the launch of Memory9's own label, MNEMONIC DOJO, and it comes as a classic A-side/B-side single. The A-side, "One Of These Days" is a footwork-inspired number, driven by deep 808 kick patterns, cut up vocal samples surrounded by arpeggiated textures, frantic African percussion and the occasional granular blips. Black Dragon is a fast-paced, straight to the point dancefloor slayer designed to rattle rigs while providing the sonic detail that will keep the audiophiles interested. The B-side, "Fractals and Blades", delivers a more chilled out 72 BPM woven with lush textures and melodies. Swelling vocal samples, tape recordings, synth lines and masterful sound design create a spacious, dreamy ambience set against the unqantised hi hats and sub-bass lines.

Previous support:
"This guy is fresh and raw as ###k! A prodigious bleep-freak" CLASH MAGAZINE

"Memory9 some truly next level innovation . Blew me away the first time i saw him do his thing." DJ VADIM (NINJA TUNE, BBE)

"The sound you can imagine being played ten years into the future" UKHH.com

"Memory9 is stupidly adept at the sampler, mashing up everything from techno to hip hop with a well-timed flick of the wrist."PLANETNOTION.com

- Beat Assassins 'Rip Up Da Riddim' (MOFO)

Mofo Recordings have a lot to celebrate in 2012. First off they have reached another label milestone with their 30th release. Secondly we see the return of the Beat Assassins but this time around it's a solo project from Jimmy Mofo.

Rip Up Da Riddim delivers Urban Electro vibes that have become synonymous with the Beat Assassins. Rip Up Da Riddim (as the song title suggests) is a peak-time floor smasher. The gritty electro basslines, hip-hop vocals, high-end leads and urban piano riffs hammer the track home. A Dubstep-influenced dropout works the floor building to a power lead drop that will make many clubbers' night.

Livin Good sees the Assassins dropping a funk-fuelled, four to the floor, booty-house belter. Again we see a peak time delivery from the Assassins with big leads, hip-hop vocals, mid-section dynamics and phat electro basslines working a throw-down party anthem. A guaranteed floor smasher!

Supporters of the Beat Assassins include: STANTON WARRIORS, GROOVE ARMADA, DEEKLINE, NAPT, DUB PISTOLS, UTAH SAINTS, CALVERTRON and AC SLATER.
